Cassels at the 2019 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona

Cameron Cassels competed in the 57th Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona on January 26-27th with an astonishing second place finish in the LMP2 class and an overall 7th place. Cameron raced in the Performance Tech #38 Oreca LMP2 along side Robert Masson, Kyle Masson and Kris Wright. Tanya and Erin Cassels was also at Daytona International Speedway to cheer on Cameron in his first 24 Hours of Daytona.

On the karting wing of Cassels Racing, the kids and Cameron raced in the first and second rounds of the Challenge of the Americas in Fontana, California at CalSpeed karting. It was a productive weekend. A good experience for ALL racers to get used to the Rok engines from the familiar Rotax engines. Everyone is looking forward to the next two rounds of the Challenge of the Americas in Tucson, Arizona at Musselman Honda Circuit in a couple weeks.
